Faculty of Accountancy
The Faculty of Accountancy at SIMAD University is dedicated to producing skilled, ethical, and globally competitive professionals in accounting, finance, and business. With over 460 students and 20 experienced staff, the faculty offers a student-focused learning environment blending academic training with real-world application.
Our programs cover financial accounting, auditing, taxation, corporate governance, and financial analysis, while promoting critical thinking and ethical leadership. Students gain international exposure through exchange programs and internships in Rwanda, Turkey, Kenya, and Sudan. Recognized by the Institute of Internal Auditors, the faculty plays a vital role in advancing the accounting profession in Somalia and beyond.
